Absolute worst. ABRO literally has zero respect or compassion for the hardworking people who rent from them and fill their pockets. Buildings are left to decay and infestation. When they do fix anything they act like they are doing you a favor. Supers do not speak English and are never available. Garbage on the stairs. Broken elevators. Lobby is made to look “fancy” while tenants apartments are neglected. Constant leaks from above. Yearly rent increases. Totally unacceptable. They also scammed me by saying they never got my check so I wrote another one and several months later both checks were cashed.I’m not even going to mention the incredibly nasty, dismissive, arrogant and abusive people who answer their phones and manage their buildings (Isaac W I’m talking to you). Glad I got out!! T

I never write reviews but I wanted to let others know that I have difficulty getting my security deposit back after two months of moving out. I emailed the company and no one replied me. I called them 4 times now, they just say they are not the one responsible for the security deposit, cut me off rudely, and transferred me to a voice mail. They blame me for following up too soon (even though it has been a whole week after my last call). They just let me wait with no timeline at all, and I am very frustrated by the service of this company.

I’ve been waiting to write this because they were withholding my security deposit illegally and as I can see with the reviews from others below, I am not the only one they’ve done this to. Finally got it back after looping in my lawyer. I’ve never in my life dealt with such an awful company. The super of the building named “jimmy” cursed at me and my friends multiple times, leaving trash in the small lobby every single day. There were rats and roaches all over the lobby and elevator, which broke down EVERY other week. On top of this Rachel from management hung up on me multiple times and was incredibly rude refusing to help on simple matters. They never fixed my dishwasher, it was broken for the full year. David the owner is a scammer, DO NOT sign a lease with them, it will save you a year

Despite the less than flattering reviews, I will give them a chance. So far I have been able to reach them and they responded quickly to a malfunctioning radiator by sending a plumber the following day. It awaits to be seen if the problem was truly fixed. After all, we're talking about radiators that were built in the 1930's. Nevertheless, they were responsive and courteous.

Probably one of my favorite complexes in south brooklyn! Great value for what they're offering, the management is very understanding and the Super is beyond fantastic. Thank you guys!
