99 at Southwinds Apartments

Vanessa is outstanding, she needs a raise if she's not already topped out. I guess I got unlucky. I heard nothing but great things about this complex. Move in day my dryer didn't work. Few months later, AC went out and was told I'd be contacted. Was never contacted. I contacted them only to be told on a Friday a technician has to order a part and it won't be until Monday. Great. Communication is key! Water pressure issues were non-stop. No showers, no laundry, no washing dishes, etc. I decided to move out, paid the fees for the early termination of the lease, thought I was done. Nope. Non-stop messages from X-finity telling me to return equipment. I called 99 and was told twice, after being charged two months of fees for the "un-returned equipment" the X-finity rep will take care of it. I

I lived at this property about four years ago and just recently was surprised to receive notice on my credit report from a collections agency claiming I had an outstanding balance. This was the first time I had ever been informed of any balance due. During my time living here I paid rent on time and was never notified of any charges at move out. I strongly recommend that residents keep records of payments and any communication with management, just to protect themselves in case billing issues arise later.

Love the look of the apartments. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Pool is big. Plenty of parking space. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Price is fair and for what all you get very respectable. We decided to rent from them. Move in November. So excited. Close to all shopping in Mont Bellvieu. Love that. And shopping around 146 and I10. See you there. Lol

My fiance and I were looking to move to a bigger apartment and had visited many different apartments but none of them felt right whether it was the feel of the apartment or the staff that we spoke with. But once we came here everything felt right. Vanessa was the first initial person that we spoke with upon entering the establishment. She was very informative and patient with us from the moment we walked in, to the showing of the apartments and made the process of applying very easy. She and the property manager went above and beyond to help accommodate us with our questions and needs. Everything about my experience at the 99 of southwinds complex has been phenomenal! The managers Lindsey and Vanessa have helped with every single concern in a timely manner. The leasing consultant Karla was wonderful during the tour and has been extremely friendly and welcoming each time I have gone into the office!
