21st Century Home Inspections

After thinking I was receiving the discounts for my storm shutters and windows for 3 years, I find out that I need a Wind Mitigation Survey before the insurance company would give me the discounts I thought I was already getting. I called 21st Century Home Inspections and less than 24 hours later, my home was inspected and a Wind Mitigation Survey was complete. Thank you so much.

We had 21st Century come and do an inspection on our home and I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with the report. They noted that the foundation had been repaired, but did not recommend or include any additional information regarding this. I would have assumed (yes I'm aware of what happens when you assume) that they would have done a review of the flooring height differences. They did not and now that we are in the home, I can tell there is a 2" difference in my bedroom alone. We now have to have a foundation repair company come out and check it out, and this would have been nice to do, before we purchased the house, especially since foundation issues are always pricy. I will not use 21st Century again.

I am a realtor in the New Orleans area and I have been working with Marc and his wife Sherrill with 21st Century Home Inspections for the last 6 years. I find them to be a great team and that they conduct a very thorough inspection. I really like the system that they have in place where Marc inspects the property and dictates notes to Sherrill through his Bluetooth headset. I think this allows him to focus on the task at hand and nothing gets missed by having to remember notes or stop and write things down. It is also so invaluable to my buyers so that they can hear what he is seeing in real time and ask questions in the moment.
