109th Place Apartments

This has been my first experience living in an apartment in over 25 years. I am definitely satisfied with this property. Considering this is an apartment, it is adequate sized, with a decent sized living room and a huge walk-in closet in one of the bedrooms that doubles as an office or nursery. Management is not on site, but is very receptive to requests and maintenance. Staff usually arrives within a day, even for non-emergency items. Even though there are only four washers and dryers in the building, I have never had an issue being able to utilize them when needed. A single car garage is included in the cost of rent so there is ample storage with the garage, entryway, closet, and large closets in both bedrooms. All neighbors have been quiet and friendly. No complaints.

Unless you're a young person just looking for their first place to live, I wouldn't recommend living here. Management is generally unresponsive and slow to resolve issues. The units look okay at first glance, but there is lots of damage and poorly done repairs throughout. The whole place looks like a failed DIY project. They clearly don't use the right kind of paint because you will find brown stains all over the unit from moisture affecting the paint. Residents smoke constantly and you can smell it anywhere in the building. Management insists they can't do anything about it. I had mail and packages stolen multiple times. Expect the water to be shut off frequently and with little to no notice. They have a poor maintenance team that can't seem to get the pipes repaired efficiently. My partn

I’ve been living here for almost a year and love it a lot I haven’t had any issues management is very helpful I love that my daughter’s school is super close! Maintenance does a good job when I put in any maintenance request I may need. The building is well kept and clean

I have lived here for 2 years and management has always been helpful and respectful. They address issues in a timely manner and the property itself is overall pretty calm and quiet. I have enjoyed living here for 2 years and the reason I am leaving is because I purchased a home to expand my family. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. Especially first time renters. Sq footage is great per price of the apartment.

Horrible place to leave. Dishwasher doesn’t come with apartment unit. Owner of the building Nick is very over-bearing and will harass you by showing up to your apartment randomly over the most minute things. Also didn’t return my direct deposit. Charged me $250 dollars for a window still plastic that cost $5 dollars at Menards. Only 4 washers and dryer for the whole building. I missed 3 straight days of work because they don’t plow the parking lot right away. The whole apartment building is moldy, bathroom and kitchen are super tiny. You can deff find better options. Worst place with the worst management that I’ve ever lived.
