TERRIBLE and DISGUSTING place to live. The previous management were scammers and new management is useless. They don’t answer calls and often aren’t at the office during regular business hours. Previous management ILLEGALLY files evictions against tenants for late rent and new management continues to do so. Rather than 30 days, they will file on the 14th day. I believe there is an open lawsuit or potential lawsuit because of this. The majority of the tenants do not respect the property as they leave trash everywhere on the property and pile it around the dumpsters. They don’t pick up after their pets, let their kids run around at all hours of the night while also being extremely disrespectful. There have been shootings here, police raids, firefighters have had to come on numerous occasions

Nasty public housing. Weed smell from every building. Trashed already. Elevators smell like urine. Every tax payer should come and see what our money is paying for in knoxville

I do not recommend Young High Apartments. I had a very frustrating experience trying to move in. Merle, who was supposed to be helping me, did not communicate at all. For over a month, I was constantly given the runaround with no clear answers or follow-up. It honestly felt like he had no real interest in helping me secure a unit. I eventually had to find housing elsewhere due to the lack of support, and even now, I still haven’t heard anything back. I paid an application fee and received absolutely no service or communication in return. I truly feel like I should get that money back. Very disappointing experience.

very dirty on the territory and near the apartments. on the balcony above lives a dog, which goes to the toilet there and waters my balcony. had to complain more than once, but so far no changes

I have never had someone bend over backwards to help me the way Shelton and Steve have! During the processing of getting approved I was shot and nearly died and it may seem ridiculous to some but I was so worried about getting my apartment more than ever after that happened. They were already doing everything possible to get me approved and when I explained what had happened to me they did their best to accommodate me while in the hospital. I can tell you that you will never find two more caring people in this line of work. It’s hard to find good property managers and even harder to find good people with good souls but they have it all and I am so very grateful. I can say they will always have a friend in me. They’ve made the most difficult time of my life so easy and seamless. Thank you t
