Wyckford Commons Apartments

Honestly I have not had the best experience living in Wyckford Commons. I moved in August of this year. Firstly, there were roaches immediately in my apartment upon moving in. Cockroaches in my living room and kitchen. I submitted a maintenance request and maintenance came. However, there were still roaches in my kitchen. Additionally, there is dry paint all over the light switches, towel holders, and door latches. The craftsmanship is very poor. Also, there is constant music blaring at all times. I am writing this review to help those looking for places to move to. I would avoid moving to Wyckford Commons.

Move in was more than easy. It was helpful and in the short time I’ve been living in my one bedroom apartment+ den I love it! I love the porch it’s big enough to fit my hammock so that awesome. And the feautures and finishes make it feel so updated and cozy. Love the in unit washer and dryer and I have no issues with neighbors in fact I made a dog mom friend. Anywho I recommend!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I am writing to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding work from the maintenance crew!! They are by far the best maintenance professionals that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Their professionalism, expertise, and positive attitudes have made every service call an exceptional experience. Not to mention how they respond to requests with remarkable speed and are also always quick to diagnose and fix the issue with a high level of skill. Additionally, when they do any work, the problem is not only fixed but they also take the time to explain to me what went wrong and how/if I could prevent it in the future. They are unfailingly kind, approachable, and always has a positive attitude, which makes it much more comfortable to have around.

I would recommend this complex. It is a good location, being an easy drive to downtown but also close to the suburbs, so it’s the best of both worlds. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and feels safe. I’ve noticed a lot of families, which I always feel is a more comforting environment to be around; everyone feels neighborly. I feel rent is expensive, but that’s just how the market is nowadays. For what you pay, you get a spacious kitchen AND a washer and dryer—which I believe is worth it. The balcony space is also massive compared to other apartments. Apartment shopping is hard, so if you are in the market and looking—I believe that Wyckford is worth it for the space you get, the location, the chill relaxed vibes of the neighbors, and the staff do their job well also.

Big Shoutout to the professional, thorough, GET THE JOB DONE maintenance men who did not stop until my air conditioner was back running cold as ice 🧊 (CARL & MIKE!!!)…5 ⭐️ !!!! They truly handled my situation with ease, in a very timely fashion and they got me back in the cool air literally freaky fast, like jimmy John’s …..🥳🤩 Thank you Wyckford Commons for having such a reliable, honest and thorough maintenance crew! Sure makes me feel safe and secure in the place I call home! -Your tenant 😍
