Woodsdale Apartments

Me and my roommate were model renters paying early almost every month and leaving our apartment in perfect condition yet we still got screwed moving out. We were called maybe 4 months prior to our lease ending and asked if we wanted to renew, we informed them we did not. The lady who called then thanked us for letting them know and did not communicate a need for anything else. Imagine our shock when we get charged an extra two months rent after our lease for “not giving notice that we did not wish to continue our lease”. Additionally our deposit was kept with zero explanation of why! In my time living here I experienced neighbors with aggressive pit bulls that they were not allowed to have and Woodsdale did nothing about our and others reports. My personal experience was awful at woodsdale. We moved out in may of 2025 we stayed at apartment building 105…..they charged us $200 to replace old carpets when we moved out (they were not new when we moved in) claimed they were soiled/stained and heavily “matted” I vacuumed our carpets weekly (still felt dirty no mater how much I cleaned) probably explains why our apartment always smelled musty unless we had a candle going. I tried not to think about the mold possibly being around us. Our ac unit was who knows how old and costed us a high BGE bill. Over the course of 3 years being there, we would call 4-5 times a year to have our a/c fixed. By the last week of us living there they finally replaced the whole system. We always paid our rent on time and they offered a terrible stay to good

I’ve made so many phone calls and emails about ppl hanging out in their wide open lobby and they laughed in my face!! And these ppl don’t even live there!!! Open the door to a smoked up lobby burnt carpet ,pot and cigarettes smell!!! Woodsdale doesn’t care about Ypur Health! Nor your safety!! Refused to put a lock on the lobby door or key fob to keep random ppl out that’s trashing their property!! Look at the pics! This has been going on for months now! And see the pick of the door the crack around it? Well AALLLL That smoke goes right into your apartment! And the fan I reported doesn’t work numerous times in the dining room and they been avoiding fixing that too!! My god I’m so glad I’m leaving here! IS THIS HOW YOU WANNA LIVE??????

The friendly staff gave me a tour today and provided all the information needed for a smooth transition to apartment living. The team is very welcoming, the layout is well-designed, and the rental prices are reasonable.
