Woodland Creek Condominiums

I recently stayed in this Condo complex in unit 310. She is not a reasonable or ethical landlord. I stayed for 10 months. After my stay, she took $1200 out of my Security Deposit with these sneaky fees without discussing it with me. And when I responded to her email with questions about these fees, she had already turned her AWAY Messaging on "vacation" and sent the remainder Security Deposit to me through Zelle. I've texted her to alert her to look at my email because this issue of the Security Deposit needs to be resolved. This is after she charged me for a FULL JUNE rent even though I moved out in the middle of the month because my fellowship ended and I returned to my home city. Don't stay in unit 310. This lady overcharged for rent (compared to other units on here) and she found every reason to charge us extra for something without providing receipts, after we moved out. A $700 cleaning fee, for example. She will change rental terms spontaneously, so beware of making verbal agreements. She added a monthly utility fee to our rent after saying that she would take it out of our security deposit at first. Get everything in writing. During 1 of 2 power outages, she was MIA and didn't inform us of what what going on. We ended up staying at a hotel and she showed no care or concern. I have lived here for 6 years as a renter and it is a wonderful community. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful and the community is well maintained and beautiful. My unit faces to the back which is the San Francisquito Creek so it is very quiet. You can barely hear 101 traffic. The friends I have made here work as doctors at Stanford, or in tech at google, facebook etc. Many young couples/families. There is a small and simple gym snd a nice pool and hottub.

Beware, no elevator, limited guest parking. Other wise, nice community.
