Woodlake Village

This was my first time renting an apartment and it was a terrible experience. The best thing about it was the rent amount considering I was on low income. They stuck me in the back apartments and they smelled so old. Something was breaking every week . The paperwork process was rushed , and unclear: one moment i was there for a 1 bedroom next thing they callin saying I was eligible for a 2 bdrm. Then was rushed through that process and had to come up with deposit fees ASAP. They are unorganized . It's located at least 10 mins(driving from everything). I can only imagine the walk time to a store . Then upon exiting they smacked me with a a bunch of fees so i owe them 3000 when my rent was only $64 a month. Place seems fine to me... I never lived there but my sister did back around 2018. I hear they updated the apartments and I hope they did. Back then they had the old, dark paneling. Places seem roomy and nice size. Don't know if they're low income based still, but when I applied I made too much and I only made 18hr back then. I still refer this place to everyone I know who income may qualify, as they do keep up with the premises and complex always looks pretty clean. Seems descent enough where you can let your kids run out and play and not have to worry about anything. I have never heard anything bad about the place. Can't give it 5 stars since I don't have first hand knowledge of actually living there. Hope this helps someone!

The door in building 10 is always open due to the door been broke for 7 months and now outside animals are coming in the building defecating in the building and gnats are everywhere it's a pile of poop in building 10 due to the tenants feeding the outside animals may someone please come and clean it up today

I thought this place was nice when I moved in . But I realized that I should’ve read the reviews on it first & yes this place needs to be under new management or needs to be shut completely down for all the roaches they have. Like I mean my building had them crawling on the walls in the hallway and all. I came home from work on my night shift and turned on my lights when I came into my home to find over 30 roaches on my walls and floors I was so disgusted. Every time I got off work I couldn’t ever be comfortable I would have to come home and literally throw bleach everywhere.

My husband and I need a one bedroom. We hoping there are some available.
