Willow Run Village Apartments

Was a resident for 2 and half years too long. There is little to no security. Criminal activity constantly, the police are there almost everyday. My family was evacuated by police, to arrest someone. At one point my building was condemned for a week by the fire department. My vehicles were stolen twice out of the parking lot, and I had heard of multiple others as well. We had billing issues after billing issues, and had to constantly ask over and over for them to be fixed. At one point, a server knocked on my door and I was served a demand for payment for a garage I didn't have. Complete mess of a property.

Super friendly staff. Clubhouse, year round jacuzzi is really nice. Tour of one bedroom, I was impressed! UPDATE: since move-in, I have received nothing but friendly service from all staff. I love it here!

Willow Run has done a tremendous job recently at listening to tenants and addressing concerns. They’ve made efforts to plan holiday activities for kids and families, clean up the complex, and staff/maintenance is extremely helpful and friendly. I’ve lived here for almost 2 years now and I’m pleased at the improvements made in my time here and I am optimistic that things will improve even more! Thanks WR

We have lived here for 2.5 years. Our experience has been mixed but overall we have enjoyed our time living here. The management has always tried their best to make sure we're happy. They also always seem to have a game or event going on within the community to win prizes or to get people to know each other. The apartments themselves are spacious and very nice. Maintenance has always been done in a timely manner. The only downsides are you can hear neighbors from time to time, especially when everyone in your own apartment is quiet, like when going to bed. The parking is also an issue. There are not enough parking spots for q everyone. Depending on the time you get home determines if you get a spot or not. I've seen people park in fire lanes overnight just to be close to their building.

I don't live here but we drop off my granddaughter and pick her up frequently. In the winter the parking lot and sidewalks are icy and I slipped once while trying to walk through it. People are prone to not cleaning up after their dogs and you have to be careful not to step in it. Sometimes the neighbors drop food in the common stairwell and it doesn't get cleaned up. One time I saw a half eaten doughnut and it was there for two weeks. The inside of the apartment is spacious compared to many I have lived in and looked at. The particular one I have seen is well kept. It's certainly to the credit of the tenants.
