Cortland Flatirons

We've been residents here for over three years and genuinely have zero complaints. That's saying something. The community is quiet and well-kept, both inside the buildings and throughout the property grounds. One of our favorite things is the network of concrete trails around the property where you can take a walk and soak in views of the Flatirons. It's a small touch that makes a big difference day to day. The front office staff are consistently responsive and helpful. Austin in particular always makes time to answer questions and follow through. Maintenance is equally impressive. Gasper and Chad resolve tickets quickly and keep everything running smoothly. Lived here for two years and the entire time the common areas were a wreck. The lobby was only cleaned once a week if that and the elevator always smelled like dog poop. The front office people are nice but enforce nothing. When my partner and I asked them to talk to our neighbors upstairs about noice due to it waking up our at the time month old baby we were told that we could relocate to a different unit at our own expense. They also tried to drain every dollar possible from us upon leaving. Just seems like an over all money hungry company that doesn’t care about anything else. The location is great but thats about it. Leasing agents are nice but dont enforce anything. The grounds seemed to always have dog poop or someone's food thrown from their balcony. When I first moved in, we were on the bottom floor and I got no rest because it was constant noise. Any time me or the neighbors used any type of water there was crazy dripping noise, but I was told it was just pipes expanding. They wouldn't even listen to the videos I took and literally said to me "some people are just sensitive to noise. We had the same complaint from another tenant and had to move him". It literally sounded like it was raining above my whole bedroom ceiling! I could also hear any time the person above me used their restroom and if they were sick or not, which was awkward. While I’m a new tenant and have left a positive review for the community and staff already, I’d also like to leave some feedback for Chad, one of the amazing maintenance people here at Cortland Flatirons. He’s super pleasant and calm, has handled a couple of repair requests with ease and efficiency, and has been very kind and considerate. A++ service!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!! WHEN YOU MOVE OUT THEY WILL TRY TO DOUBLE CHARGE YOU!!!!! We just moved out after living here for two years(we left the unit in great condition, and we were great tenants that never paid rent late) while living here we had to deal with loud upstairs neighbors (calling and complaining did NOTHING as we were told that WE could move), they didn’t follow through with the trash half the time but still had NO problem collecting our money for them to do absolutely nothing, the common areas in building one were always DISGUSTING and weren’t cleaned as often as they say they are (once a week, there’s been times where it’s taken over a month for them to finally clean the building), the office staff rarely answer the phones and aren’t in the office very often either, the club
