Bought in Williams Ranch 9 months ago. The realtor in their sales office who handled my transaction (Clarence Clemons) answered all my questions, explained everything, made things happen, and is a delightful person on top of that. The house is well constructed, and very well insulated. AC bills during a very hot summer were extremely reasonable (there are Tesla solar panels on my roof, and a Tesla powerwall in the garage). Like all new homes, I’ve had a few (admittedly minor) issues, but these were promptly taken care of by the caring and extremely responsive warranty rep, Gary Arteaga. Between Clarence and Gary, you couldn’t possibly have had better staff! Coming from 77 acres in northern Vermont, a smaller home on a small lot has been quite the adjustment, but hey, there’s a lot less to
Buying a house from Williams Homes is the worst purchase I have ever made. My house had numerous leaks, impacting 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, the laundry room, the living room, the dining room, the pantry, and the garage. I reported the first of the leaks in December 2022. 8 months later, not a single one of the leaks has been repaired to completion. I’ve been living with holes in my walls, untreated mold, sections of the house taped off and unusable, and one ceiling caving in due to moisture damage for 8 months with no resolution. In one region of the where a repair was attempted by removing and replacing the exterior stucco, the house was not repainted to match. I also have an issue with water pooling on exterior stairs that has not been resolved for months. This is the kind of qualit
Do not buy any of their homes. Our multimillion dollar community homes are falling apart in less than 2 years. They cannot even build walls straight, pour concrete correctly-the sub vendors they use are the cheapest and lowest quality. Their head warranty Deborah is ill prepared for her position and thinks she is an expert in everything. Any of their workers that were good quit or were fired which is unfortunate for WH as they were the only people trying to help. It is a fight to have them repair things CORRECTLY. You will learn that they rarely fix the problem right and to code and standards but if you don’t know than your SOL.
BUYER BEWARE! In my opinion and many others who have not rated on Google, Williams Homes should not be in the business of building homes. Do not rate them immediately following the sale. They will ask you to rate them on the "sales process" however where they severely drop the ball is after sale so rating them when you have not even tested the product in your first year will falsely inflate their ratings giving a false impression they build quality products (which they dont). Like one of the other ratings prior to my own, buying a Williams Homes built homes is also the worst purchasing decision I have made. While I like the area, layout of the home, and the design choices I made, the overall quality, workmanship, and customer service is subpar - Prior to completing sale, I asked the Willi
a month ago We’ve been living in our home built by Williams Homes for almost two years now, and I can honestly say it has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. Within the first six months of moving in, we reported several serious issues: problems with the wood flooring on the first floor, a hump in the master bedroom floor, leaks in multiple windows, and issues in the upstairs master bathroom. We brought all of this to the attention of Preston, who was the superintendent at the time. Unfortunately, he was unresponsive—often taking weeks to reply, if at all. While he repeatedly told us someone would come out to assess the problems, that never happened. When our one-year warranty inspection came up, we had a professional inspector evaluate the home. We submitted a full list of c
