William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty - Southport Brokerage

On 2/22/26, I stopped by an open house hosted by this brokerage in Windsor, CT. The open house was listed on Zillow from 12:00 PM–2:00 PM. I arrived shortly after 12 PM and found the screen door locked, so I rang the doorbell. Two men walked past, looked at me, and continued walking. No one came to let me in, so I left. Overall, this was a very discouraging experience as a prospective buyer.

Erika is the best Realtor I've ever met. She is kind, strong and always looks out for her clients. We started working with Erika in the beginning of 2023 and found our first home end of 2024. She always offered us guidance and advice and never stopped looking until she found us the best home for our family. We cannot thank her enough and have already recommended her to our friends and family.

From the very beginning Erika Portanova Songer was great. She showed us the types of homes we thought we might be interested in and also showed us ones that made us explore other options. She was very understanding and as hard as it is to explain exactly what you're looking for, somehow Erika just got it. This current market has been crazy and it took us a little while to finally find one but when we did we knew it! We found a home that we get to make into our own. Aside from being a realtor, Erika was so kind and friendly. My husband and I would normally have our two little boys with us while looking at homes and she was so accommodating and helpful.
