Whitman Place Apartments

This is by far the best apartment that I have ever lived in and I am 51 years old. The on-site manager was professional, kind and expedient. The landlord treated us like family. He helped us so much he deserves a five star review. There is a private entrance which was cleaned every month if not more. The maintenance of the building had excellent upkeep from the windows to the yardwork to maintenance requests. The apartments were spacious with large bedrooms. The appliances were modern with washer and dryer in the unit. The other renters in our building were pleasant and courteous and some of them became great friends of ours. Management on-site and offsite returned our call the same day whenever we needed them. Shel O.

It's a place to live, over priced now that they raised the rent to do "upgrades" and haven't done anything. Black mold to be found all over and the fix is to just paint over it. Previous manager (fritz ) was horribe,(new one never calls a person back so who the hell knows why she's even the manager) maintenance guy is I'm sure paid to fix things only half way like window issue stated by another person and they just refuse to plant grass where the property is just mud and has been for years, our fridge sucks as it freezer burns everything, now pipes are leaking below sink and no calls back. Pretty sad the owner drives a nice BMW and just ignores his Tenants. If you want to feel like you live next door to a water fall, this is the place for you. Maintenance is a major problem here. Windows don't work properly (wind-out windows won't open easily), the apartment was dirty when I moved in, after promises to have it cleaned. Cabinet doors don't stay shut, so they're dangerous (ever walk into an open lower cabinet door in the middle of the night? -- ouch), the appliances are miserably outdated: loud dishwasher that was improperly installed so the door doesn't catch easily, range that has front controls that turn on TOO easily and start the oven or stove top. The rent is raised every year! Sidewalks are icy for too long, The trash container outside is too high to reach for shorter tenants (ok, if you're 6 feet tall!). Bathroom sinks are cracked; black specks come out with the water in the bathroom faucets, bathtubs won't hold water lo

It'a incredible how a man has to make his voicemail recording state specifically that the number given has been his personal number for 16 years. Way to go, people.
