West Knoll Apartments

Everyone left negative reviews about property manager Andrea and the owner strategically moved her out of the office and promoted her to take care of his other properties. SHAME ON THEM! Apartment is a mess. No Maintenance when you need them. Roof Leaks. Parking lot does not get cleaned during snow. Bed Bugs for which they will make you pay. Stay away! Just read all the other reviews and just don't take my words for it.

Lots of bed bugs.... They said there is nothing and they usually fake a treatment. But if you start living, you will find bed bugs at night. Andrea (the property manager) is a great liar. She didn't returned my deposit for no reason. The whole apartment was perfect. She said they found a stain( which was there from the beginning) in the carpet, so I have to pay for the whole carpet change. Stay in the road, if you have to, But don't go there. You'll pay if you do so. Thank you. Best of Luck...

West Knoll manager Andrea is charging my neighbors 350 dollar for treatment for bedbugs which is the management's responsibility. This apartment has a history of having bed bugs and the management came up with a way of putting the cost on tenants instead of them taking care of the problem. Very poor business strategies, they don't realize that this is a bad business practice and it is only going to affect them in a negative way in the long run. Above all, like the other reviews stated about manager Andrea, I don't have anything else to add. Reviews speak for themselves. Tenants are not happy.

Had a very enjoyable living experience at West Knoll. Only minor issues with the apartment (which would be true almost anywhere), and the management was helpful fixing stuff. They are very friendly and have always eventually gotten the job done in my experience. The location is super convenient and the layout and condition of my apartment was great. Love that it is all hardwood floors, no carpeting (hard to find in Newark apartments). Clean in my experience. I would recommend.

I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. Though it is kind of cheap, the management does not keep up with their promises. They promise many things, when you move into the apartment, but do not get deceived by it. As others reviewers has pointed out, these apartments have problems with all sorts of bugs (bed bugs, ants, roaches, etc.,). I have been asking the management to treat for the roaches, and they do not take any good action to eradicate the problem. I DO NOT, DO NOT Recommend anyone to move to this apartment.
