I never give a 1 star review but I was highly reprimanded for hanging pictures on my apartment walls, Not only will they not give you your security deposit back if you treat your home like a home, but they will try to charge you extra when the apartment had holes in the wall when we got there from previous pictures. I tried to help out a little by applying some spackle to a few of the holes just because I had some around, but it’s no way we created over $2000 in damages from hanging pictures and maybe two TVs. Windows cracked, neighbors complained about us burning incense, heard a crying baby almost every night. I still didn’t care and I didn’t complain, so if you move forward with renting from these people, you have been warned. I do not recommend this company and it took a whole 60 days

LISTEN YOU WILL GET DENIED THEY HAVE YOU TO PAY A $60.00 Application fee just to tell you you’re not approve they are scammers please beware! and they give tell you it’s not they fault it’s they system fault third party some mess!

I wouldn’t recommend this company to a dog. They are con artist & taking advantage of people. I applied a few years ago to Sevielle Apartments in Hueytown (Bessemer) paid the $50 application fee, got denied & told my apartments I was living in denied me. I spoke to the apartments I was living in at that time & was told they didn’t deny me or provide any negative information to the company regarding me. I called Watts Realty back to verify & was told they denied me for having 2 previous late fees in my credit history. Luckily I was blessed with a better apartment/area than their location & glad I didn’t/don’t have to deal with them due to the circumstances my sister has been going through with them for 3 years. As an owner of Multiple Rentals in the Birmingham area, I have found the Watts Team to be extraordinary in how they are handling our Properties. After talking to other property owners that they represent, we switched to Watts from a less than satisfactory property management company in the Area. They have been assisting us for 6 months now and have provided solutions and subcontractors to bring up our properties up to proper rental standards. Watts Realty has been a bright light in the Property Management industry in Birmingham. Chip and David and team, are in constant contact to discuss my current rentals and to also share ideas and provide insight into how I can continue achieving my goals. My properties are all stabilized and generating income. My tenants are happy, and so am I.
