The James on Highland

I was searching a few communities in downtown Birmingham but this community really stuck out to me. I can honestly say I had an amazing experience touring The James on Highland Apartments, and I can confidently say they are the best apartment community in downtown Birmingham! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was already home. The property gives true five-star, old-money vibes—elegant, timeless, and beautifully maintained. My favorite amenities were the gym and the sky lounge. The vibes were immaculate in both 🤌🏽 Alexis gave me my tour and she was absolutely wonderful—so professional, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. William was incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great energy. He really made the tour feel personal and fun. You can tell he truly believes in what The James offers. The community has such a great culture and welcoming environment, it already feels like home. We’re definitely planning on making this our next move! What an amazing apartment complex! Moved in a few days ago, and the apartment itself is so comfortable and new, and the whole building is just packed with amenities. The coworking space alone is worth it — exactly like a WeWork (coffee of all kinds, rooms for calls/meetings). The gym is, likewise, crazy…the largest nicest gym I’ve ever seen in an apartment building. They have a hangout bar area, a poker room, a golf simulator game room…the team are so nice and helpful. Only here for six months and my main concern is how to feel okay with wherever I live next. Like, where is my cappuccino machine and poker room?

I took a spontaneous tour today at The James on Highland, and it was beyond the experience I imagined. William is the perfect leasing agent who effectively demonstrated his knowledge and excitement about the property, and conveyed such interest into what I was looking for. His friendly, hospitable, and warm personality paired with such vibrancy and youthfulness made my experience unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, William made The James on Highland feel like that is the place for me. Oh, not to forget, the fitness center and views are *chef's kiss*!

The James on Highland is absolutely stunning! This is exactly what downtown Birmingham needed. You can seriously cancel your gym membership — the fitness center here is the nicest I’ve ever seen in an apartment complex. The best part, though, is the staff. They’re so friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about making your experience great. Highly recommend stopping by for a tour — plus, the views of the city are amazing!
