Watertower Villas Apartments

I don't know where to start on this place. Stayed here for 2 years. Maintenance did what they could but were ultimately just following orders. If you have any sort of problem with controlling your own air conditioning, don't sign a lease. If you have an issue with being blown off by management, don't sign a lease. If you have a problem with lack of pest control(cockroaches) don't sign a lease here. If you have a problem with finding parking after 5:30 pm due to their lovely new policy of implementing personal spots for $50+ a month, don't sign a lease. Plumbing problems are constant. On the up side, they do get their butts in gear if code enforcement is called or a utility company is informed of a serious infraction (go figure). Update: I added a photo of my lease. We are about to renew our third lease with this complex. There have been some rough patches with the towing services. However, overall, we enjoy the audio/visual security that is located throughout the complex, the dumpster is emptied frequently, and the landscaping is always well cared for. There are washer and dryer units available for the complex to use in two of the enclosed buildings. We have seen them greatly improve the grounds over these past years and are very pleased. Hopefully they'll consider adding some community grills and provide an alternative to adding funds to the laundry cards. I have lived in these apartments for about two years. since i moved in we have had several different property managers and owners. I have seen fights and domestic disturbances over those two years. Plumbing problems like old CLAY & CERAMIC pipes being completely replaced and completely out dated air conditioning units that need frequent repairs. A SINGLE dumpster for all of these units that is frequently too full to put my trash in. Though things are better in general there are still many problems. Recently my Building was "remodeled" which included new paint on the walls, base boards & trim, and handrails. The hand rails and baseboards are still have the appearance that they were chewed. This place is the absolute worst. I'd give a NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could. One of the worst experiences, management was so rude and scandalous. They talk real nice to get you to sign the lease, (JANIE) will even promise you a gift basket ( honestly have heard her telling other people this line when I would go in the office to pay rent) Never received, didn't count on it but that just tells you the kind of people they are. Trust me take your hard earned money elsewhere!! These people are CON ARTIST ! There is this floor issue I had in my apartment (a newly "renovated" one) where the glue from the floor boards would seep to the top. *********UPDATE********** I am happy to be able to update this review and make it positive. I’m glad I gave this complex a second chance after being in contact with the manger. We moved back in, in (June 2018), and within that year that we were gone this place has improved drastically. Starting with the new management, that came in 2-3 months before I left, I didn’t have much hope, but it’s great to see what a good manager and maintenance staff can accomplish. I credit them being the main reason why this place has gotten so much better. Vanessa the manager is overall awesome. Communication with her is incredibly easy, any issue or question I have I get resolved within the same day. Maintenance does their job quickly and with a smile on their face. I recommend this complex to anyone I know
