Walnut Ridge Apartments

I’ve been living here for almost 5 months and the staff are helpful and amazing with everything. My apartment feels like home, the grounds are beautifully kept up! We have great amenities. Gym, pool, lounge area, office area if needed, a dog park, and park for the kiddos. So many places near by to run and grab a bite to eat or Bucees across the street. I’ll post pictures for you to see. It’s quiet and people stay to themselves, very nice place!

After 2 years, the punchlist of problems with my apartment I submitted before move-in have not been resolved even after I brought it to the property manager's attention. Spent over a month of last summer with a portable A/C in ONE room because they couldn't get the central air functioning properly below 86F. They left the tile uncaulked around the tub, paint on the floors, cracked electrical plates, a broken bedroom door that has a hole punched in it, a bathroom door that won't close properly... The list goes on and on. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Update 5/20/2025: I was sent an email in response to this review, requesting to contact the manager. Upon attempting to do so, the call is hung up before it is even answered.

I have been a resident since Oct of 24 and I could not be happier with the complex and staff. Ruby and Tracy are two of the most caring and giving individuals you could ever meet. Anytime I’ve have had a concern or something that needed addressed, they resolved quickly and their response was stellar. The grounds are always kept, it’s quiet here and VERY well managed. The apartment industry could take lessons from this management team and how they care for the residents and the property. Thank you Walnut Ridge (Ruby and Tracy) for making my residency here comfortable and enjoyable. if you are searching for apartment living, look no further than Walnut Ridge!

I had the pleasure to work with Ruby in management. I was considering two properties and she gave me the pros and cons of both locations without bias as a local herself. She honored the conversation we had two days prior and things went very smoothly to top it off, this location is next to the state park and Bucees which is fantastic. The prices were fair and the grounds looked maintained. Highly recommended. Additionally, management had asked me if I could spare a few more days to make the apartment primed for move in. The transparency and customer service was just top notch.
