Walnut Commons

Only been here a month and this place is amazing. The last time I lived in a city was when I worked on an airport project in Vancouver. Both cities are wonderful, which is rare these days. I chose Walnut Commons because of the wonderful view from the roof top to meet with friends and make videos, and the project I hope to do shortly that could build a run-of-river hydropower installation just upstream of the Walnut Street Bridge. I get up early in the morning and walk across it every day and have already met some wonderful folks in the community. And no, there wouldn't be an ugly, permanent dam poking up out of the river to screw up the environment. Unlike your typical public sector project this one would be a cooperative effort with many people and companies from the private sector join

I used to live at Walnut Commons, it was a great place to live, until they changed ownership. The accommodations were incredible, and the location could not be beat, but things quickly changed once they changed ownership. The new property manager had no idea who I was and would not renew my lease after I lived there for a full year. I'm not sure how things are going there now but I'm sure it can't be going as well as when I used to live there before.

Living here has been an amazing experience. The apartment and the management have been absolutely lovely. The location is great, truly in the heart of downtown. Everything is very walkable, and the things that aren’t, like the grocery store, is only a short drive away. Every maintenance issue we’ve had has been fixed immediately, and the office staff (especially Ricki) has always been friendly and available for any questions. Recently there were even kitchen and bathroom renovations throughout the building that greatly improved the look and usability of our space. My only complaints are likely to be shared by anyone who lives downtown (traffic can be a nightmare, street noise, events blocking off the street, etc) or those who live in an apartment period (neighbors slamming doors, neighbor

Luxury at it's finest.Steps away from the walking bridge,ice cream shops and a huge variety of food and activities for the family. The apartments are nice from the time you hit the door. Everything is clean and immaculate. Very spacious. I love the theatre room and all the other luxury amenities included. Not to mention the rooftop view is amazing. My son lives here and I am comfortable knowing he is in a safe community. Highly recommend

Walnut Commons is one of if not THE best complex in the downtown Chattanooga area. The building and the walls are solid; no paper-thin junk like other apartments around downtown. The management effectively listens to the community's suggestions and makes sure residents' needs are fulfilled. In my 2 years here, the residents have been mature and respectful of each other. Have lived at this complex for roughly 2 years and have never had an issues.
