I had the pleasure of working with Waconah Construction on a ground up modern home near the west side of Los Angeles. I cannot say enough amazing things about this entire team. Finding a contractor is incredibly challenging and working through large construction builds can feel daunting. Chris Mulhern and his entire team made this a wonderful experience. Waconah is a rare find: old-fashioned honesty combined with top quality work by talented, respectful & delightful craftsmen. Waconah helped me fully renovate my mid-Century home, with several original elements that we restored and/or preserved. It was a unique and somewhat complicated project that turned out great. Waconah’s bid was reasonable and the prices on change orders were fair. They are a tight-knit, well-run group who have worked together longterm, with an outstanding and responsive office manager who ensures excellent client relations. Chris was great at helping update our investment townhouse complex and unit. Very detailed oriented with a friendly crew. They were able to offer up ideas we hadn’t thought about and make the finished product that much better. They were not only wonderful with interior updates—kitchen and bathroom, but helped with more advanced outdoor drain needs that another contractor could not troubleshoot. Highly recommend!

Chris and team tore down and rebuilt our house in 2016/17, and have been supportive whenever we have a question ever since. Honest and hardworking.

Waconah is a well oiled machine. They were able to take my ideas and incorporate them into my project without blowing out the budget. They were very hands on with cost saving ideas that did not cannibalize the design. They had a full time project manager and a software that sent updates and photos to my phone, which was nice because I wasn’t living in my house during construction. If you are looking to work with a company that is professional in every step of the way, then look no further. I have already recommended them to my friends.
