Vintage Amelia Island Apartments

Needed to find an apt close to stores and restaurants in Fernandina Beach. The property is clean and very attractive. The desk staff was responsive and helpful. Maintenance staff also responsive, professional and good. We just moved in, so I'm still exploring the on-site amenities.

⚠️Edit to add: the case is being reopened and we are fighting the eviction!!!!!!!! Updates will be added! Even the lady at the courthouse agreed, how can someone be evicted when they weren’t even at the property, nor served ever in compliance to an eviction process! This is what happens when greedy corporations 💩 on the little people! ⚠️ New tenants BEWARE!!!!!!! At first we were in love with the community, Jennifer up front was great!! The apartment upon move in needed some deep cleaning, I took care of myself, BUGS, from the laundry room, the tubs, the sinks!!!!! Even though there’s supposed to be valet pest service, it was never ending!! The water pressure in the bathroom tub was horrible. What a disaster... We tried to book a 2 day stay at the Vintage using what is basically their Corp Rental Units. All of the pre-stay information was completed and paid for... We simply were awaiting a door code to make use of the Unit. It NEVER CAME. We stopped by the Appt Complex as well... The leasing agent was less than helpful and almost antagonistic to our finding a Solution. Hours were spent (of what was supposed to be a pleasant short family visit) with an Indian Call Center trying to make sense of what had transpired. All unsuccessfully. Ultimately we found other accomadations. I cant even imagine the Brain Damage involved were you to Live there....

My sister booked this location thru booking.com for my recent visit. Days prior to my arrival, I filled out all their required registration forms, including photos of myself and my ID, and promptly made the CC payment. Payment went thru, and I received an acknowledgment from "Tucker" (apparently the property owner or mgmt. firm) It indicated that I would receive an email containing necessary security codes to access the facility 24 hours prior to the reservation; didn't happen. Physically went to the property about 1:30pm the day of the resv. and was told I would be in a specific bldg., but I couldn't have access until after 4PM, by which time I would receive a text with access codes and instructions; which also didn't happen. STRONGLY caution anyone considering renting here. My experience with this property has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The property itself is poorly maintained and built - floors are uneven, renovations are extremely low-quality, appliances are cheap, water pressure is terrible, leaks, thin walls, and doors slam. While they advertise a safe, gated community, the gates are broken, leaving the property open to strangers. Pest issues. Parking is wide open but your car will most likely be towed! Management’s practices are extremely shady, the property is poorly maintained, and the overall living experience is far below expectations. I would not recommend renting here. We cannot wait until our lease is up, and we will be advising everyone to NOT RENT FROM HERE.
