Village On Main Street

Somethings here were very fair, the office staff is typically nice, low crime, nice apartments. Beautiful scenery. Close to everything. And something's were very unfair here. They wouldn't renew our lease and made us pay $150 for month to month rent and increased our rent $150. We were great tenants the only thing I can think of why they would do that what seemed like weeding us out is my husband is ethnic. Because we had been great tenants. The sudden $300 rental increase quickly became unsustainable and we were days away from trouble when we left. We didn't have a deposit for our new house, we didn't have moving money saved ... Apartment prices keep rising too high. I was looking for a short-term lease, as I'm planning to leave Utah. I applied for a one bedroom with a special for $899, which would save me almost $600. When I took the tour, Clint didn't even want to show me around. I honestly wasn't impressed. He couldn't even respect me enough to inform me the outcome of my application. I called after a week and was sent an email saying that my background was denied. I don't have a background. At least I know what I've heard about the property and management is true. I have to move in 2 weeks and they wasted my time. I need to recognize that belong somewhere else.

***Update***07Mar24 I absolutely love living in this Community. The staff is excellent, on-time for maintenence. My SVAN passed and the front office Manager Abby sent her condolences. They are empathetic and care for the residents. I just renewed for another year. Michelle Figueroa I moved in December 2021. I've had a couple of unpleasant experiences of course. I went from home living in Georgia to apartment living in Utah. I had reservations after reading reviews. All I can say is my experience with management has been excellent. If I have a problem and take it to management it's addressed. I have a medium sized SVAN. We are in a routine now and love to walk around. Village on Main has honestly been such a great experience for my husband and I since we moved in August of 2023. The staff are the best!! The ladies in the office are easy to talk to, and so, so nice and understanding! The apartments themselves are nice, we have a 1 bedroom, and it's super spacious with a walk in closet, a pantry, a large bathroom, bedroom, and living room. The kitchen is an open concept, with a bar separating the kitchen from the living room. Lots of storage space, with kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and a few shelves built into the wall in the bathroom. The counter tops, carpet, and tile are all very nice, so are the appliances! I love how the building is secure at night and you need a card ( like a hotel) to gain access. Very safe!! My elderly mother visited me from time to time and with being on the road with my job...it was nice knowing that she was safe and if she needed anything, the staff was there to help. I have lived in many apartments over the years because of my job and this one is by far one of my favorites! I love it here at Village on Main Street. The staff is always friendly and they sincerely care about the residents. They have large and spacious bathrooms and walk in closets and stay super quiet!!
