Villa Laguna at SoLé Mia

We moved here from California in September 2024 and have now lived at Villa Laguna for 15 months. We leased the apartment online without seeing it in person, and upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised — the community looked great and the unit met our expectations. Pros: • The community area and lagoon are truly beautiful and make the property feel cozy and unique. • The location is convenient — close to the beach, stores, and daily essentials. • The concierge staff is generally friendly and helpful with packages. • There are frequent community events and resident gatherings, which is a nice touch. • The pool and grounds are usually clean and well-maintained. • Maintenance service is fast — we’ve always had repairs handled the same day. • Elevators work relatively quickly (not always th

Me and my husband were looking for 1 bedroom apartment, and leasing agent Maria Hererra were dealing with us. She was so kind to us as she showed us 4 different units. She was so professional and patient. She helped us to choose what we were looking for and we are very excited to move in. The community is so cool, everything is new and clean. Our new apartment is amazing. We can recommend SoLé Mia for sure.

If you’re looking for a place to rest peacefully, this is not the right spot. The landscaping crew starts working almost every day at 7:30am, making it impossible to enjoy any quiet mornings. I’ve kindly asked management to consider a later start time, but they refuse to show any empathy toward tenants, prioritizing the garden over residents’ comfort. I’m literally counting the days until I can move out.

Life in the complex becomes unbearable. Not only does construction start at 5 a.m. every day, but because of the bakery it is impossible to safely drive up to the house. Guests of the establishment leave their cars where they want, the concierges do not monitor this. The playground turns into a dump after these "guests".

The building is nice, but they really struggle with staff. After they tried to overcharge the rent (try to negotiate if you really want to stay), we informed that we were not going to renew our lease and we tried to schedule the move out inspection near our final date, so we could follow up with them, as we saw many reviews complaining about the said unfair charges. Then we were advised to wait until closer to the date (first email sent a month before the move out final date), we waited until the same week as advised and, as also already warned by other reviewers, they started ignoring the emails. Then at the purposed date, since my husband had no response, he showed up to the leasing office and was told by the concierge that the office was empty, as well as the concierge had their call ig
