View Pointe Apartments

Please look elsewhere for a place to live. There are a LOT of people who will have keys to your apartment here and for the time period that I lived here, on more than one occasion when I was home, men entered my apartment WITHOUT EVEN KNOCKING, and came right in. My door was locked but they let themselves in with their key. The last time it happened, the man claimed that he thought it was a vacant apartment. When I contacted management, they brushed me off. Expect no privacy here, and a complete lack of safety/security. ZERO accountability; they do not care. Lisa and Cindy are nice at first (office managers) but that all changes once you move in. The staff are incompetent and the buildings are run-down and in disrepair. The amount of money they charge to live here is RIDICULOUS for what

Very affordable and quality apartments for the area. Quick response times to issues in apartments if you have them, just make sure you let them know about it. Lived here for a year and had little to no issues. Walls are quite thin though so be wary.

I lived at View Pointe for 1 year and absolutely loved it! Maintenance always came right away with any issues I had (which were few and far between). The foyer and hallways were always cleaned weekly and the building always smelled nice! I never had any problems with neighbors and loved the location of my apartment. There was always plenty of parking and sidewalks were always salted and lot was plowed almost immediately. The ladies in the leasing office are a delight to communicate with and Lisa was always eager to help me with any questions I had! Great price for what they have to offer. Can't beat a $200 deposit! 10/10 would live here again!

The best part of View Point apartments is the office/maintenance staff. They are invaluable in handling emergencies, maintenance requests, and/or if you have a general question. The rent is one of the more affordable (in terms of value) communities in Valparaiso. The downside is the apartments are a little old/outdated, poor insulation in the walls and windows, and my 1st-floor apartment floods around 2x per year.

I lived in a garden apartment (meaning the windowsills were almost level with the ground outside) with my college best friend for the past 10 months, and overall our experience was great! Maintenance requests like broken blinds were fixed promptly, and my only real complaint is that we’d get bugs if we had the windows open since the screens fit a bit crooked in the windows. Parking is easy and right next to the building, and the office staff are very pleasant! We recommended living here to our friends looking for apartments, and I’m glad I had such a good experience as my first time renting.
