In my personal time here, I did not see clear transparency about finances, fees, or how money is used. I also felt the cost of living here and additional charges did not match what was being provided. This is my personal experience, but it raised red flags for me. Spiritually, I also felt that the environment was not centered on Christ the way I expected. I did not sense the biblical focus, humility, or accountability that should characterize a ministry. I want to be respectful, but I also want to be honest that I personally felt the atmosphere was not spiritually healthy. To avoid any Lawsuits, this is all based on personally witnessing these things along with personal opinions of my own. AVOID this place like the plague. It’s a cult! They will literally pester you for $ from day one even when you are giving something before you start a new job. They try to dictate what jobs you can work at and what stores you can go to due to “temptation” but try to send you to Paysetters (literally located on a street with nothing but addicts/dealers) because they didn’t get enough $ from you. They will tell you to be quiet when you speak up about house “leaders” disrespecting you. If you don’t be quiet about it, the “pastor” Jose will tell you to “submit” to him in his house or get out. The Victory House is awesome! What a blessing they are to the community. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting several of the guys who live there and God has turned their lives around. Now they’re on fire and passionate about doing the Lord’s work. Jose and Michelle pour their lives into the house and the guys there. We need more faith based sober livings like this and Jose and Michelle are the perfect people to talk to about how to do it and what to expect. The Lord is doing a mighty work at the Victory House!

I have known Pastors Jose and Michelle Ariza for over 1.5 years and have witnessed how their Love, Compassion, Dedication and Discipline to the Word of God has transformed men to follow Jesus and live a productive, healthy and fulfilled life. They bring a variety of Ministers to the house, various Bible studies, Christian concerts and community activities for the men to be engaged in as they overcome addictions and learn to live a Victorious Life in Jesus, their Savior and Lord.

Victory House has profoundly impacted my walk with God and the deepening of my personal relationship with Jesus. The environment here radiates peace and love, creating a sanctuary where spiritual growth feels natural and supported. The pastor has been truly exceptional—offering guidance, encouragement, and wisdom that have been instrumental in both my sobriety and spiritual journey. Their compassionate leadership has helped me navigate challenges with faith and strength, making Victory House a genuine blessing in my life. Walking into this community feels like stepping into a place designed by grace, where healing and spiritual renewal flourish.
