Vernon foster are the WORST people to rent from. I have paid my rent every month with out trouble but when I move and inform them of my move and the last day I was there they still want to try to sue me for a whole month rent!!! People have told me about them and I wish I listened

Started off good and ended badly. 1. Vfmr initiated service calls with their in house maintenance company without alerting or asking our permission. 2. Vfmr allowed tenants to send photos instead of doing in person move in and move out inspections. Needless to say the next tenant moved n and immediately had maintenance issues… 3.THIS IS THE BIG ONE…. On being fired, we were not aware that vfmr has a clause in contract that calls for management fees to be paid for remaining months on every lease and he has a 60 day notice to cancel.. So firing him was very expensive but h so worth it in the end…

I have to admit sometime has past as I wasn't moved to write a review. I wanted a few moments for the receptionist to return but wasn't bother by it. We have a job to do. During the conversation it became apparent she wasn't listening. I'm not going to write why she assumed I was looking to rent vice property management but I felt it. I politely corrected her and she took my information down for someone to call me back in reference to my query. It's been a few month and no call. The Kinston Realty Group seemed like a better management choice. If they probably treat the ppl that rent like they treated me.
