Based on my experience, prospective renters should be extremely cautious before renting at Ventura Villas, especially since the recent ownership and management change a few months ago. Before that change, the prior management was noticeably more down-to-earth, approachable, and reasonable. Communication felt human, concerns were acknowledged, and issues were at least discussed in good faith. Since the new corporate management took over, complaints have been routinely dismissed, minimized, or ignored, including serious habitability concerns. Communication became evasive and transactional, and management appeared far more focused on policies and charges than on tenant safety or accountability. If I could rate this 0 stars I would! The leasing office is very unprofessional, they never had a manager in the office. They always forgot who we were and always forgot what we just talked about days before. They forgot we put in our 30 days notice a month early, they forgot we turned in our key and are trying to charge us another months rent. They told us the amount that is owed would be fixed, but it still has not been fixed. Also they almost killed us in the beginning of our lease. If anyone is aware of an ozone machine, they put it in our apartment and said we can go back after a certain amount of time. They made us go in and turn it off ourselves without telling us any precautions. We were in there for about 10 min and immediately could not breathe. We had to rush to urgent care and

I'm very impressed with Taylor Paulson and the rest of the crew members. The we're approachable, friendly, and customer care orientated and handled my needs professionally. I've enjoyed their communication SKills and highly sensed their positive dispositions. They deserve a four star rating because to me Five star rating in any business establishment is unrealistic. I am a tenant of this building and it has always been bad but currently we have no management and the girls in the office aren't trained to do anything? 2 people got shot here a few days ago while trying to rob a tenant and there is no security whatsoever. There is trash everywhere, tenants don't feel safe or taken care of. The Scotia group should be ashamed of themselves for being so negligent. Where is the regional manager? Why aren't they taking care of theplace while looking for a new office manager? This place is a joke 👎😡

The most terrible place to live. Ive lived in Tucson my whole life and have been in some pretty rough areas so please read this through and through before you consider living here. The neighbors smoked fentanyl and IT REEKS EVERYWHERE, from when you step outside to going to MY apartment bathroom. Mind you I have a 4year old baby girl. There are roaches EVERYWHERE even walking the complex sidewalks you will see roaches. They have "sprayed" my apartment abfew times but it has not helped one bit. I also kept trying to call to let managment know about this along with a few other things. No answer.
