Vanderbilt Apartments

We moved into the Vanderbilt Apartments in 2022. Great location. Vanderbilt has a clean and well maintained complex. We’ve enjoyed our time here. The apartments are updated with modern flooring, appliances and bathroom fixtures. I also love the courtyard view some of the apartments offer. Nice to look out and see people playing catch with their dogs and grass instead of streets and cars. I sit out and enjoy a meal on my patio as often as I can. It’s very peaceful and cozy.

I just want to start this off with I’ve lived at these apartments for about 3 years. This is the most horrible place to live. The Leasing managers alone are the least compassionate people I’ve never dealt with. Melissa in particular has made living in this complex the worst experience I’ve ever had. In a young girl and I live by myself. In my experience Melissa specifically has treated me so poorly the day I moved in. I never paid rent late, I never had any real issues with them until I moved out. I have no idea what I have done to receive that level of disrespect. The process of moving is already stressful and Melissa alone has made the process of living alone and moving 3 times worse. The buildings are riddled with brown recluses and spiders. “We have no record of you staying in our community” I should have paid more attention to the low reviews because those reviews are accurate. They can’t pull that one on me if they try to comment that. I’m a current tenant! And the experience from moving in to currently living here has been so bad. I Have developed a huge allergic reaction in the apartment I currently live in, and it makes me wonder if the people who stated how dirty or if they might of felt sick in the apartment upon living here stayed in this exact same apartment. Because the apartment I currently live in now was definitely dirty upon move in, and can tell it hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time. I have enjoyed living at Vanderbilt Apts. for yrs. Great location, beautiful grounds my dog loves to walk in. Love the view of the dogwood tree. Maintenance needs work, but nothing is perfect. Great place to call home.

I have lived her for over a year now. Melissa is always very responsive. The maintenance team Scott, Angelo, Mike and Ken are so helpful. One day I had reported 3 issues in the morning (I had procrastinated on reporting two of them) Mike Clayton took care of all three that afternoon and took some extra steps to make sure all was well. Several months ago I dropped my cross into the drain and Angelo came out within the hour and retrieved it. I was so grateful because it was a gift from my daughter. Scott is extremely friendly and I see him at all hours working. One night I couldn't get my storage door open because of the humidity. I grabbed Ken right after 5 when he was headed for home. He didn't hesitate to assist. The maintenance team is outstanding. Also the grounds are immaculate. Gre
