VALO at South Haven Farms

Since moving in just over a year ago I have for the most part enjoyed living here. It is a quiet place to live, I've had very little maintenance issues. Some issues I've seen is dog poop not being cleaned up. I walk out my front door and smell dog poop, neighbor's let there dogs poop in the rock in front of their porch and don't clean it up. Parking is a big issue, there is not enough parking and several spaces are reserved for the club house. I've yet to see anyone park in the club house parking and actually use the club house. Cars are constantly being parked in the roadways. I think they could have reduced the park area and made more parking. The grass area where the park is located is all soggy and muddy 95% of the time. Management has been very unhelpful. Barely ever respond to any of our emails. I think their current tally is 2 of 7. If you ask them a question they don’t want to answer they will either ignore it or redirect. They do not even abide by their own rules. We have a MASSIVE wasp nest around the corner from our balcony and have reported it several times and they have yet to even acknowledge the report. Neighbors are extremely loud and disrespectful at night. Most people do not abide by the speed limit in the parking lot and best of all police show up on a weekly basis. The apartment itself is nice. But management is a joke

RUN FAR from here do not rent! I’ll start with the pros before the cons. The place is new so the paint is nice and it’s relatively quiet in the townhome so I cannot hear my neighbors unless they are doing construction. That’s it. Cons: None of the amenities are finished but you’re still charged for them and valet trash even if you don’t use it. Nickel and dime fees tons! Earwig infestations! I called my own pest control because after 3 times spraying they couldn’t fix the problem. The dishwasher didn’t work and maintenance requests get no updates if they even get addressed at all. The dog park when open was not maintained. The dog poop trash is overflowing. People don’t clean after their pets. The place has well water only and it stinks like sulfur, no water filters provided. We have been here for almost 2 years and in that time one thing has stood out to us the most. The people. Kinsey and Eric both are what makes this place so great! Of course there have been issues. Anywhere you live, things will break or not work right all the time. But, anytime that happens, they are right on top of it. Always communicating with us or showing up as quick as they can to make sure everything is taken care of. I truly feel like they care about us as humans, not JUST tenants. They even brought my daughter some goodies when she was sick. Like where else do you get that kind of care and kindness from property management?! I certainly never have prior to living here.

I recently visited this townhome community and I was thoroughly impressed from the moment. I stepped onto the property. It felt like a peaceful and well kept retreat. The entire neighborhood is beautifully maintained with lush green spaces, clean straight and attractive landscaping. The townhomes themselves are spacious, modern and offer a great layout with high-end finishes. Kinsey was super easy to work with and made my experience more meaningful.
