Valley Stream Village Apartments

Worst Apartments i have stayed so far, Pretty Old and not maintained properly. I have been staying here from past 1 year, really worst management and maintainance. If you raise any maintainance request it takes more than 2-3 weeks and also they won't fix properly. I would rate 0 for this Management.

I was a tenant here for about 9 years. Here are the pros and cons of this complex. All in all I had a pretty decent experience here, but the quality of the community has changed a lot. Capano really needs to invest more in updating some of their older properties. Pros - Good location, near many places in the Newark area - Some renovated units. If you can get one, get one. They are way better than the older phase 1 and phase 2 units. - Safe neighborhood and area. I never had any safety issues while living here. - Maintenance is good for the most part, but there are a few employees that aren’t the best. You choose what suits you. -Beautiful views from the outdoors -Private entrance-style apartments -Large balconies- yet, they keep an eye on your possessions and upkeep. The biggest disadvantage is that balconies are not covered (spaces between wooden bars), so if a tenant smokes above you, ash will fall through the holes and land on the balcony below, on the tenant's head, or on his chairs.
