It’s tough to put into words just how much I adore this place because I could easily write a whole essay about it. Nonetheless, I’ll attempt to keep my review concise and focus on what I personally appreciate about this place. Firstly, its location is perfect. It strikes a balance between being comfortably distant from the hustle and bustle of the city while not feeling isolated in the middle of nowhere. Tucked away amidst the hills, it’s an ideal spot for leisurely morning strolls or spontaneous hikes any time of day. Plus, there are convenient amenities like small businesses and a grocery store that stays open till 2am nearby. And let’s not forget, just a 15-minute drive to the Lafayette BART station ensures easy access to public transportation for those days when you’d rather leave the

I lived here at Valley about a year ago and the service was great. My parents still live here. I grew out of the space and moved out with my now husband. However, the service here at Valley was always beyond my expectation. The service manager was always punctual and always went out of his way to fix anything that needed to be fixed in a timely manner. If the a/c was broken then he would bring a temporary one in the summer and in the winter if the heater wasn't working he would provide us a heater in the meantime. Luis is an exceptional worker and has such an important role on this property. He truly is the best out there and gets the job done!

Living at Valley Ridge Apartments has truly been a pleasure. From the moment I moved in, I felt at home. The surrounding area is peaceful and picturesque, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to everything I need. Easy access to major roads and public transit makes getting around stress-free. The apartment itself is well-designed — spacious, bright, and thoughtfully laid out with modern features that make everyday living comfortable. Everything feels high quality and well cared for. One of the highlights of living here is the incredible management and maintenance team. They genuinely care about residents and respond promptly to any requests or concerns. Mold. After about a year of living here, mold and moisture suddenly started making its way through the paint. It's pretty clear this was a preexisting problem that they just painted over. Aside from the persistent mold, associated "mold mites" moved in and started crawling all over surfaces like tables and counters. Our apartment ended up being no better than living in a musty basement, for nearly $3,000 per month. This property is managed by a large company called Sequoia Equities, who did nothing to remedy the problem. They probed the walls and confirmed there was moisture inside them, and they called an exterminator who said the mites wouldn't go away unless the moisture was eliminated, but nothing ever came of it. The Valley Ridge apartment community manager Chris, and the maintenance manager Luis are both fantastic! They respond quickly and correct problems immediately. They are consistently available to discuss any issues on the property. Since Chris became manager, Valley Ridge has become a very desirable place to live. They have made the apartment complex a wonderful community. Chris and Luis ensure that the grounds are safe, clean, and very beautiful with seasonal flowers. Hummingbirds are everywhere! The outdoor barbecue area has been renovated with updated outdoor furniture and gas grill. The pool area is inviting and beautiful.
