Vacaville Gables Apartments

If I could give zero stars, I would. Gable Apartments has gone completely downhill. Management clearly doesn’t care about tenants or the property. They constantly send out “inspection” letters every other week and never actually show up. They’ve been promising “remodels” for years and nothing ever gets done. We’ve been forced to live with mold, roaches, and spiders everywhere. It’s unsafe and disgusting. The laundry room was closed for months, and when it finally reopened, half the machines didn’t even work just eating everyone’s quarters. The office hours are a lie they claim 8 to 5, but it’s really 8 to 4, and the new manager is almost never there. She gets paid to pretend she works, while the property continues to fall apart. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. They hide their reviews so people can’t see what really goes on here and trust me, it’s bad. I’m living with mold in my apartment, not just a little patch but the kind that puts your health at risk every single day. My toilet? It doesn’t need a quick fix it needs to be completely replaced. My bedroom light switch doesn’t even work, so I have no light at night unless I go out and buy a lamp myself. The worst part is how they take advantage of low-income families. A lot of residents are on Section 8, but many of us are working 9-to-5 jobs, struggling to make rent, and still can’t get the most basic maintenance done. I went here to pick up an application last week with a list of questions in hand. I met with the manager Tenaya, who let me know she is new to the property. One of my questions, she was unsure about. She let me know that she would look into it and get back to me... ( I was thinking to myself, Yeah right, I've heard that before)... But she actually did! I received a call back from her today. I couldn't believe she followed through. I know I was being difficult that day. It was hot outside and I was frustrated from walking... I want to say THANK YOU for being patient with me. You welcomed me with kindness, and even offered me a cold water that day. I appreciate your help... Very nice manager!

Heyheyhey. I am on the waiting list. Hoping to get in. This apartment complex seem awesome helpful to those in need and the staff kind and professional The manager has amazing customer service and seems really not just about cut n dry actually wants people to succeed and do good.

Great community. Most people here are undocumented so they don't bother anyone. Glad to see the management from before is gone.
