University Center

My daughter moved in here and from the second we came everyone was so friendly and helpful! We got in late at night and the smiling faces and positive demeanor of the people at guest services and security were exactly what we needed after our long journey to Chicago! Everyone has been so helpful and kind and communicative - especially Onome and Antoine!!! The bedrooms are small but clean with a great view of the city and the common areas are large! All of the other people living here have been so friendly in the elevators and the amenity lounge! 10/10

At first, I’d like to point out that my tour was canceled two days before and once we got to Chicago Kendall College one of the directors they’re called the university center and asked if somebody could give us a last-minute tour. Our tour guide Jesus. He was willing and thank goodness for him because we live 3 1/2 hours south of Chicago and we’re most likely not gonna come back for a tour just of the university Center. He did a splendid job and helped us with any questions that he knew and I was just very thankful that he was able to do it so last second!This rating is because for Jesus and how he stepped up to help us out even though this was not planned beforehand!

Horrible experience. Dining hall food is terrible and the staff don’t do nothing except sit around and give attitude. If u are an athlete don’t expect much healthy food just junk like pizza and burgers. In the 4 person suite the Bathroom floors are soaking wet every time you use the showers because the curtains aren’t long enough and there is no drain on floor so you have to mop the floor constantly. This is the 3rd university I’ve attended and these dorms is by far worst I’ve had. Never thought I’d be leaving a review but thought it would be helpful for yall before you go spending thousands on a dorm that sucks.

This is my second year at the university center and it has been alright. I do enjoy the amenities and the programs they put on and I really love the ticket series that happens from time to time. However like most businesses there are some areas where I think they could improve. I think the caf needs more and better food options, sometimes it feels like the same items are on repeat constantly. I also do wish it wasn’t so hot in my dorm all the time. Me and my roommates often have to turn the AC off and open the windows due to the excessive and sometimes unbearable heat that comes from the A/C even with turning it down The elevator wait times as of recent also haven’t been great and it’s something I hope will be fixed soon. Overall I have enjoyed living here and I would recommend this fo
