Twin Oaks Village Apartments

I rented here for almost 9 years. I would say that this is the place to rent from if you want reasonable rent and amenities as well as excellent , responsive maintenance and office staff. The location is excellent, w/in short walking distance to the MBTA and there are various stores and restaurants within walking distance.

I just wanted to share a great experience that I had working with James T regarding a rental. Although I ended up accepting an apartment that better suited my needs, James was very responsive, professional, and a pleasure speaking with. It was immediately clear that he took a lot of pride in the buildings and grounds. Nice experience all around and happily recommend!

My boyfriend and I were on a waiting list for this place for about a month. I had called about after 2 weeks to ask some more clarification questions and the person/manager on the phone told me not to call him back unless he calls us. We were happy to receive a call back for a tour (for tomorrow). However, when we called back to set up a time, he said my boyfriend and I HAD to be present. My boyfriend is unable to take work off that quickly so it was just going to be me going. The person/manager on the phone said that we need to fill out a paper application when we go. We asked if we could set up a separate time to fill out the application. He said no because that is a waste of his time. Very unpleasant and unprofessional interaction and social skills. Renters beware.

Cheap apartments managed by a company that has yet to hit the 21st century. Enjoy dusty carpets, popcorn ceilings, old appliances, and dark rooms. All of the walls, floors, and ceilings are paper-thin. Your upstairs neighbors merely walking around will shake the walls and floor. You can hear the casual conversation next door, and don't get me started on how much the smells waft around. The water in the area isn't that great either; you'll definitely need a filter.

Lovely complex, manicured grounds surrounding in ground pool & secured entry. Spotlessly clean Apts with dishwasher, garbage disposal, laundry room with storage & abundant closet space!! Reasonably priced.
