Management responds very well to work orders and emergencies and the community is a great place for easy work-commute and local treasures. Areas of improvement, 1) Management needs to be forthcoming on email response delays (i.e. email reply automation recommended on delayed staffing availability) 2) Management lacks personability (recommend personable approach in tenant-relations) 3) Community Updates/Notices/Announcements are often not clear (recommend management to be actively involved with online portal for tenant's feedback/suggestions) 4) Hours of Operations are very limited to staff attendance or service start-time usually at 10am/12pm s (recommend traditional 8:30 or 9am service start time on weekdays and ascertain staff coverage).
When I first moved here, this was a decent place to live—though overpriced for what you get. A two-bedroom is about 800 square feet, with carpet flooring, very old appliances, and extremely thin walls where you can hear neighbors clearly. At the time, it was still manageable. Once management changed, everything went downhill. Rent & Management Issues Rent was increased by over 50% with only two weeks’ notice, with management claiming they needed to be “competitive with the market” and make property updates such as fixing the pool. However, the only “updates” have been filling potholes in the parking lot and adding grills. The pool remains unfixed, there is no gym, and there are still no real amenities. On top of that, some office staff are rude and unhelpful. I truly cannot wait for my
My wife and I lived in Towne Estates from Sep 2017 to early 2019. We had a great experience in every respect. The manager, Kim, is a super professional person who means business. Every event has its own discipline and the procedures are totally clear. They communicate well with the tenants and are super responsive. We had different issues several times, and every time we were totally satisfied with the office’s actions. Thanks to the management and its nice maintenance staff, I highly recommend this place.
I’m very surprised by the negative reviews I’ve read about Towne Estates. I’ve lived here in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath for over three years and absolutely love it. Erin, who always picks up the phone at the office is SO kind, always helpful, and is amazing with following up with you. Every time we’ve ever had to have something checked or fixed, they come the same day we call about the problem. All of them are unbelievably nice every time and very respectful. Yes, we’ve had cars towed before but the rule is to have a visitor pass on them to prevent that so it was our own fault. It’s walking distance to the train station, maintnance workers are always on the property, it’s a safe neighborhood, and there’s laundry on the first floor. Disregard the bad reviews, they’re old and my own review isn’t d
DO NOT MOVE HERE. It will be the worst decision you make. The people who run this place don’t care about the residents at all. I’m a current resident, and they treat us like rats in a cardboard box. They raise the rent whenever they see fit, they put ridiculous clauses in the lease and if you don’t agree you’re out. They slap fees on EVERYTHING, and lately there has been a building problem. Instead of taking responsibility, they surprise the tenants with inspections two days beforehand, and if you don’t meet THEIR date and time, you’re charged upwards of $500. Moving here was the worst mistake of my life, please run for the hills.
