Town Center Apartments

I’m leaving in Town Center appartment around 6months. Great location,we have everything we need in a walking distance-Safeway,Whole foods,Trader Joe.FedEx/usps/ups,a lots of variety’s restaurants and local shops. Great elementary schools and close to BART station and freeway. Upgraded kitchen cabinets and counter top,but very old dishwasher that would not clean your dishes. Our building having a lots of issues,like fake alarm sounds in the morning that can run for a few hours.Broken elevator almost every week,that makes a big difficulty when you have to carry your newborn and a stroller. Now our front door is not working “to open” for a few days,and I have to use a stairs and then come back via elevator to open a front door to get a stroller. Great property, conveniently located near both the 24 & Lafayette BART station among many great places in Downtown Lafayette. Manager Raj is super responsive & has frequent resident appreciation events. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Overall this has been a great place to live. The building is safe, the units are updated and modern, and the amenities are great - especially the fitness center and the meeting room. The residents are really quiet - I’ve literally never heard any noise from other units day or night. Unlike other commenters I’ve had no problem reaching maintenance within 5 minutes and received a resolution immediately, so I don’t think this is an ongoing problem. It’s in the most convenient location possible, less than a 5 minute walk to BART, very good restaurants and bars, and all grocery stores. It’s great for entertaining as everything you could think of is walking distance.

I’m writing this review to strongly advise anyone considering moving into Town Center Apartments—don’t do it! I initially tried to remain impartial, but after this past year, all we’ve encountered from the management team are misleading and unhelpful charges. Their lack of transparency and fairness has made this an incredibly frustrating experience. Our experience with Town Center Apartments was extremely frustrating from the start. When we moved in, the washer and dryer didn't even work, and it took over two weeks to get them fixed—only after I happened to run into the management team by chance! Rajshree is exceptional!! She is incredibly professional and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that residents are happy and comfortable. Whether it’s addressing maintenance requests promptly or organizing community events, Rajshree’s dedication and hard work does not go unnoticed. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the well-being of the residents. I highly recommend, largely due to the outstanding management and the location is perfect.
