Please think twice about moving here. What started as a great place to live during our first few months quickly turned sour and had several recurring issues: - Significant construction, during which time their communication was spotty, workers showed up at times they were not supposed to, significant debris was kicked up, amongst other issues. They replaced all the windows in our apartment, but left shards of glass strewn all over our carpet. It took us several weeks, and many cuts and scrapes, to get it all cleaned up. - Poor management. Bad communication skills, delays on getting work done, poor workmanship, delays in responses. - Gate issues. The gate consistently breaks, stays open, or does not respond to the opener or the entry code. This causes issues with deliveries, has resulted

Quick, capable response and repair time for the maintenance staff (Aman & Gabe) are one of the best things about living here. Excellent service and very professional

I’ve lived here since 2017. This community goes through a different group of managers every couple years. Lots of turnover. This last team refuses to give their name when interacting with you. I was emailing back and forth and I asked for their name, the person refused to tell me their name saying only they’re part of the team. Some of the managers that go through are nice, some are immature and unprofessional all the way. I miss the community and managers from when I moved in. They actually cared. Move in at your own risk. I don’t recommend.

Decent place to live, but beware of excessive move-out charges, poor security, and lack of transparency. Living at this apartment complex was generally fine, but the experience turned sour during the move-out process. Despite deep cleaning the unit and only leaving a few small holes from mounting a TV and hanging decorations, we were charged nearly $800 for cleaning, painting, and carpet services to meet their “move-out standards.” These fees felt excessive given the condition we left the apartment in. On top of that, we were charged an extra day’s rent simply because we emailed to confirm our move-out the day after we actually moved out — even though the official move-out date had already been agreed upon by both us and Essex in the formal notice. At no point did management mention this
