I'm sorry to write this review, as I really did want this to be a productive purchase. Unfortunately, it became such a source of stress and upset in the long run and I wanted to put this forth for prospective buyers. I believed the numerous positive reviews I saw on Facebook and ignored the negative ones that cropped up here and there, to my detriment. While I cannot speak for those positive experiences, I had a wholly different one that I believe needs to included for consideration. We were overjoyed to find Tiny House Cottages in a time of great need. Financially and functionally, they seemed to be the perfect fit for us. This was the ultimate bait and switch. They advertised a model with dual lofts and all kinds of special features at a certain price. I had seen other ads of theirs in the past and had even gone to their yard and met Farrell. He promised to call so we could place an order and never did. Every time I called or emailed regarding a specific tiny home, it was sold. Finally I called on one advertised & it was available. Farrell finally met us and I expected to see the unit I was buying. When we arrived, he had a purchase order with a picture of the advertised unit on it that he asked me to sign and said the unit was in Oregon. He wanted full payment. Buyer beware! Tiny House Cottages is very responsive until they get your money, then communication shuts down. I had my house shipped from California to Hawaii in September. I had to have my entire electrical panel redone, my electrician said it was a fire hazard, siding not properly attached, roof is already starting to rust, and messy finishing work. I still have no legal documents to show that I own the house after several requests. Be wary!

As a single man I was looking forward to living in a place away from the hustling and bustling of the city. Where I could carry out my work in solitude and enjoy being around nature. This dream of mine came true because of tiny house cottages. I got the perfect tiny cottage with a small porch area outside where I could sit and have a cup of tea anytime. The interiors had a small toilet and bathroom opposite to the living room and a small wardrobe under the staircase leading to a study area. It was worth my investment.
