Timberline Apartments

I love this place! 😍 It's my 1 month anniversary of moving in today. And, it's actually more like a house than an apartment just due to the square footage. The coolest feature has got to be that jacuzzi spa tub. I've lived in houses and on an 18th floor tower and never had this. I did mess up at first and didn't fill it with enough water; but the next time, it was great. Finally, a hot tub all year round in your own space! 🤗 I found this place by accident. Now, I have an extra bedroom, bathroom, and parking. I just need an extra car now. I highly recommend checking this place out. They really are kind of hidden around the trees and other apartments. My fiance and I have lived here for two years now, and we love it. 1) You are right in the thick of the city, yet you really don't hear a thing! These apartments are on the highest hill in Tigard, we are surrounded by trees, and it is so, so quiet. All major stores are within 10 minutes driving. Additionally, Petco, Safeway, Grocery Outlet, (and much more) are literally right down the street. 2) Insulation is great, we hardly ever hear our neighbors. However, we tend to have TV or music playing softly. I suppose if you like it absolutely quiet in your house you would most likely hear cupboards close, etc. We can hear the fans in bathrooms come on in the apartment under us. But it doesn't bother us. Visited a friend at this complex a few years back and although the location is in a nice spot, the place didn't look all that impressive. Recently went back to catch up on old times and man this complex looks way better. Like night and day. Paint job and parking lot looks great. Still a little crowded but upon talking with the new manager, who might I add was very polite and helpful, I learned they are still working on improvements. I have rented from a couple WPL properties and they have always made me feel welcome and appreciated. Something I find is hard to come by these days. I definitely recommend giving this apartment complex a try.

Management did nothing when we complained for 2 years about the downstairs neighbors rancid smell. They were hoarders so we constantly dealt with ants, cat pee smell, and dog poop smell. During summer was the worst because they would have windows open and it would just bake. When they would turn on their bathroom fans, the stench would come through. They also charged us for carpet cleaning and a move out clean. After combating smells, noises of domestic abuse, and no action from management, we decided to move out. We left the apartment absolutely spotless. Never had pets and the carpets were good as new. Carpet cleaning and move out clean is not in their contract. Don’t plan on getting your full deposit back even when you deal with horrific neighbors and leave the apartment in better shape

Unhelpful management and a wide range of apartments. Some units look like the pictures/videos advertised online and some are nothing like that. Some are well maintained and pretty decent and some are falling apart with terrible washer/dryers/stoves/ect. My friend lives here and their unit is super nice with good appliances. I moved in and my unit is garbage. Brought the differences between units that ALL COST THE SAME and have the same pictures up to management and they claim every unit is exactly the same. Not true. I wouldn't gamble on getting a good unit here if I were you. Not for as expensive as they are for something under 1,000ft. They also don't advertise the ADDED FEES they throw on so they can pretend rent is low. Add the fees on and you're paying way too much for somewhere barel
