Timberfield Apartments

I lived in this apartment community for 3+ years, and my experience has been gradually very disappointing. Everything was fine the first year when I moved it. Neighbors have been wonderful. However, over the last two years, the rent was increased significantly during my lease (as other comments have indicated) far beyond what felt reasonable, showing a lack of concern for long-term residents. When I moved out, I was charged excessive and unfounded fees. Despite thoroughly cleaning the unit—including renting a professional floor-washing machine for the carpets—I was billed for cleaning for $1100. I was also charged for “damage” to a door without any photo evidence. I also need to pay, again, for my pets, even though I had consistently paid pet fees for my two cats throughout my entire time

I lived in the apartments for 3 years. Every year rent was increased an outrageous amount (it went up almost $700 by the time I put in my notice to vacate). You can hear everything in the hallway so nothing is private. The laundry machines tended to be broken the majority of the time, and the dryers didn’t dry your clothes all the way. Even when not overly stuffed. Lastly move out inspection is a joke. I wanted to be there for my inspection, set up a time with property manager and she did the inspection before I arrived at our scheduled time. In 2025, the monthly base rent for my 1-BR apartment increased from $1,225 in June to $1,480 in July, an increase of $255, or 20.8%. By comparison, the January 2025 cost-of-living (COLA) increase for Social Security benefits was 2.5%. Utilities that were previously included in the base rent are now added to the base rent as prepayments adjusted the following month. For September, the adjusted utility fees for my unit were $12 (water), $17 (sewer), and $6.31 (trash), for a total of $35.31. I expect a fee for furnace gas (previously included in the base rent) will be added to my rent once the winter-heating season begins. DO NOT RENT HERE ! Yes it looks nice and they tell you nice things but what they dont tell you is is they will rip you off every year and when you move out they will bend you over one more time ! They raise your rent 70% EVERY year ! Then if thats not enough they will raise your utilities and garage rent if you have a garage . when you wise up and move out you will have a 3 page list of everything you have to clean so they dont have to do it or pay anyone to do it . You do it all and if you dont there is a price next to each item and you will be charged that price if you dont clean it . I have rented a lot and I have Never rented from such a ridiculous place ever !!! Save yourself the trouble and money!!! (See part of cleaning list attached )

We've been here for over 2 years and love it. Location is prime, Internet is fast, Anne our property manager is more than on top of it, and the little pond with path behind us is an extra bonus!
