Do your homework before purchasing a home remodeled by Three D Properties. A Norwood home I considered was fully remodeled (reconfigured floor plan, added bathroom/plumbing lines, laundry, upgraded electrical panel) all without building permits or a certificate of occupancy for said work. There were two building code violations regarding the home's water heater as well. This permitting information was never disclosed at any point in time by Three D or their listing agent. As a result of no permits, the remodel was never inspected by the City of Birmingham until my realtor and I raised the issue.
