The Weddington

This is absolutely unacceptable. Packages are constantly being stolen in this building and it feels like management is doing nothing to fix the issue. I’ve honestly lost count of how many of my packages have been stolen at this point. A package gets delivered and if you don’t go downstairs immediately, it’s gone. If I don’t pick it up within an hour or two, it gets stolen the very same day. It’s ridiculous. If you’re considering moving here, be prepared for the possibility that your packages may simply disappear. This isn’t a one-time situation, it’s a constant problem!!!!!

Unfortunately, my experience with the condominium management has been very poor. After a bike was stolen from my apartment balcony, I contacted the management requesting only a review of the security cameras — without assigning any responsibility to the condominium. Even though it was a simple request, I received no response. The management frequently communicates only to announce rules and procedures to residents, but when support is actually needed, there is no follow-up. The lack of communication and basic attention to residents is extremely frustrating and shows a management that is not committed to those living in the condominium. If I could rate The Weddington 0 stars I would. Do not move here under any circumstances unless you like dealing terrible, terrible rumbling bass noise from the adjacent dance studio. The building management doesn't care and will not do anything to stop it. The police doesn't care, and will not do anything to stop it. The city doesn't care, and will not do anything to stop it. Save yourself, do not move to The Weddington.

UPDATE: I'll bump this place up two star because it has improved once we talk to corporate about parking. Would love to get them to fix the tv in the large yen area, it has not worked the entire time we have lived here which is Nov of 2020 and when you make a maintenance ticket for it there is zero communication about the issue. Also, I think the amenities "curfew" should be extended to 12 on Fri & Sat, and not 10pm. They will ask you to leave the fire pits right at 10...every single time. Overall things have improved, hopefully they continue to progress forward. This place is a joke, it was nice for all of 6 months. I have lived at The Weddington for 4 years, and I continue to be impressed by the staff and the maintenance team. You can truly feel the positive impact and presence of the new manager, Brandon, who has elevated the building experience. Raul remains a pillar of support—always reliable, kind, and attentive. All of the maintenance guys are excellent and fix issues promptly. One of my favorite aspects of living here is the sense of community. The Weddington consistently offers unique, high-quality community-building events that make the building feel like home. Overall, I love living here and am so grateful to call The Weddington my home!
