After being fined $25 for simply not tying a trash bag, I can't keep my feedback about this apartment to myself any longer. We have experienced major maintenance issues that have gone unresolved for months, easily making this the worst apartment I've lived in. We submitted requests starting in June for a broken dryer; maintenance didn't come for a MONTH. After putting in more requests to fix the dryer, it caught FIRE in August. Management's solution? Give us access to another unit that the dryer wasn't hooked up properly, also a fire hazard. We had to threaten legal action just to get work started on our apartment and to get a new dryer. Four and half months later, there is still a hole in our wall covered with cardboard from said work, and multiple issues flagged at move-in were never a
I love my stay at the retreat so far! Jessica did an awesome job helping me finding the perfect apartment. She took me for a tour showed me 3 different models. Finalizing paper works, settling internet and electricity were also so easy with her assistance. The retreat is a beautiful gated community in a very quiet safe neighborhood. They respond to maintenance requests promptly and quickly. + they invite food trucks to the community which is a big plus! Since I visited this community it has been so hard for me to accept or look at other apartment communities. Update: not gated or guarded community
I can't give this place a 1-star because I have not lived here, BUT we scheduled a tour and waited outside of the office for ~45 minutes because there was a paper on the door saying the office was closed because there was currently a tour. We never received a call or a notification that our tour time would be impacted. Additionally, we noticed that there was someone sitting inside the office while we were there. They briefly let maintenance people come into the office but proceeded to lock the door after they left. Ultimately, this customer service impacted our decision to rent here.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T MOVE HERE. I tried not to leave a bad review, but after only two months I can’t stay quiet. - Move-in day: No AC for several days - Carpet: Dirty and foul-smelling, causing major allergies to me and my pet; management didn’t replace it for nearly three weeks. I had to go to the ED by the way because of my allergy! - Kitchen: Oven burners the wrong size—unsafe to cook. Dishwasher filthy, filter full of old food. - Laundry: Washer still had the previous tenant’s clothes. - they sent a housekeeper to clean the washing machine and dishwasher but she only vaccumed, didn’t clean the dishwasher and didn’t remove the clothes. I get that small things can be missed, but this is way too much. I’ve shared photos of the emails, washer, and AC issues. This place is not wo
I can’t believe this place has any good reviews at all. They must’ve been paying their friends to write them. This place is a slum, and the people who work in the office are horribly rude and disorganized. They’ve had someone (who we don’t live with and who doesn’t work here, but lived in these apartments years ago) attached to all of our personal emails regarding rent and other matters. We’ve contacted a lawyer to help us with these many issues. The maintenance team and valet trash are even more useless and unhelpful than the office staff. We pay nearly $1800 a month for a “luxury apartment” that is more like a slum. Sure the location is great, but at what cost to your health?
