The Pointe on Mass

I strongly advise against moving here unless you're prepared to deal with unresponsive and incompetent management. I moved out on December 31st, and despite repeated attempts to contact them, I have yet to receive my security deposit refund. Management is constantly changing, rarely available in the office, and does not answer phone calls. Indiana law requires landlords to return security deposits within 45 days—this deadline has long passed. I have gathered extensive documentation, including emails and call records, and will be filing a formal complaint and pursuing legal action. They have no problem collecting your money but fail to return what is rightfully owed.

I moved into my first ever apartment today, and I am so happy I chose The Pointe! The Stout is adorable and extremely spacious for only a 1 bedroom. Don’t even get me started on the kitchen😍! What sold me wasn’t even the beautiful apartment, but the leasing agents and management at this complex. I looked at many places before The Pointe and no one compared to them. Tara sold me the day of my tour, and she was extremely personable and kind. Rebecca answered all of my questions and helped the whole leasing process go smoothly. Katie was very welcoming and I loved her energy. I highly recommend The Pointe for anyone looking. The apartments are gorgeous, and their team is the best around. I’m so excited to live here!

I recently concluded dealing with this property management company, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others about the service I endured during my time there. Maintenance Negligence: I submitted a maintenance request in March, and it took them until October – the month I moved out – to address the issue. This wasn’t the first time it happened either. I had water leaking out of my dishwasher and it took multiple emails to resolve. This blatant disregard for resident concerns reflects the overall lack of responsibility and care exhibited by the management. Deceptive Lease Renewal Practices: I was informed that I couldn't renew my lease due to impending renovations, only to discover that the renovations were minimal – just new paint and a fridge. Great apartment units, communication for work orders could be more streamlined and online payments are not convenient due to the fees. Security has been greatly improved for residents however it has inconvenienced access for guests and residents.
