To put it simply, our experience was rough and our long stay wasn't because we loved the place, we simply bit our tongues, paid our rent, and stayed as long as we had to because what else are you going to do in today's rental/housing market? To begin there is significant room for improvement: the playground, a serious safety hazard, should have been torn down years ago; mold on the bedroom windows was a constant issue, despite multiple attempts to remove it; there were exposed tack strips that cut my childs foot on more than one accasion, from poor carpet installation, that I requested be addressed and never was; the sliding glass door leaked every time it rained; communication from the office staff was nonexistent unless they were

I would like to discuss The Oaks of Dunlop Farms, managed by The Franklin Johnston Group. This apartment community would receive a negative-star review if that were possible. Firstly, in the summer of 2022, our air conditioning unit malfunctioned. The management lacked the necessary staff and parts to address the issue, resulting in a two-week delay during the peak of summer, with our child being only 18 months old. When I requested temporary accommodation in a hotel, my request was denied. It was only after I escalated the matter to the regional manager that the issue was resolved within two days. The area and location is a wonderful place to live. I've been renting for nearly Five Years now and I haven't had any violent incidents or criminal activity In my complex at all! Thank You Lord For Keeping Everyone Safe 🙏

The Oaks are now 98 days past due to return my security deposit. Trying to get it back has been a headache. For anyone looking to move in just know that trying to get your security deposit back is almost impossible. If I could give zero stars I would.

Nice apartments, I loved living there but there was so many issues with my apartment (AC/heat never worked the way it should have). Never taken seriously. I lived there from 2020- the end of Aug 2023 I don't know if I would rent from there again. Its effy.
