The Monroe Apartments

The Monroe has been awesome tbh. Good vibes, the pool is the spot in the summer, and they do free food/events all the time. Staff’s chill and maintenance actually shows up fast. No complaints, glad I signed here. A few pics from my last year living here. I would recommend to anyone looking for a chill place.

It was a very nice apartment, not too far from campus. The rooms are a good amount of space per person. The main living room is a good space for the amount of people you room with. Overall nice amenities and nice rooms. Definitely recommend for students and anyone looking for an apartment.

Been 3 weeks living in Monroe, The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, which makes it a comfortable place to live and study/work. Management is responsive and helpful whenever issues come up, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to public transport. Overall, Monroe Apartments offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place to live.

My daughter pays her rent monthly on time, recently she ran into some issues with VA and how they issue payments starting 2026, I reached out to the front office asked to speak to the GM on several ocassions and kept getting the runaround from AGM which I never experienced in my life. The pushback and resistance I got from trying to obtain assistance, understanding an relay evidence is absolutely flooring. It’s a national issue, getting something personalized and printed after my daughter has been a student there for 6+ months and level of trust, service and support is beyond belief. This review is in response to Monroe’s reply to my previous review, which I was forced to delete just to write this one—because the situation here has only gotten worse. My roommates and I moved in this past August, and almost immediately after move-in, Monroe began aggressively pushing residents to re-sign their leases. They do this intentionally, giving people little to no time to realize the sheer number of serious maintenance and habitability issues. I regret re-signing every single day. Maintenance here is a joke. Nothing is actually fixed unless someone gets angry enough or a parent gets involved. Even then, the solutions are temporary at best. Mold is a constant issue and cannot simply be “covered up” with Kilz, no matter how much maintenance wants to pretend otherwise. The plumbin
