The Meadows Apartments

This complex needs to mark their speed bumps, so they’re actually visible to delivery drivers and we don’t destroy our vehicles. I don’t mind ever having to slow down in a residential parking lot, but it would be nice to be able to see that if I go more than 5 miles an hour. I’m gonna bottom out and hurt my car.

STAY AWAY! The new management company of Meadows Vestal is notorious for hiking up rents and overcharging for everything. Rumor has it they unlawfully hold two months' rent as a security deposit, which clearly violates NYS law. And you won't get your security deposits back upon move out. They will withhold your security deposit by charging for minor damages on every little things. Their washer and dryer charges surpass those in New York City. And this year alone, they've just announced a 20-40% rent increase, showing extreme greed and being inconsiderate for its tenants. I've never encountered such a money-hungry management company before. Shame on you!

My previous review was taken down, as was about ten other reviews (suspicious). In short: this place is horribly maintained and should be condemned. The speed bumps will rip your cars apart. There is a revolving door of rude, inept office folks who will do nothing for you and then blame the other office person when you complain. The walls and floors are paper thin. They hike rent up every year but do nothing to raise value. They leave broken refrigerators in the lawn behind the office. Sometimes the windows will fall out if the wind is strong. The air conditioner in my boyfriend's unit kept flooding, but maintenance wouldn't do anything about it. They will report you to collections if you are one day late on rent, and when they raise your rent, you sometimes get a terrifying automatic em

Only been here once. The speedbumps are DANGEROUS. TALL AND WIDE... why. Had me teeter tottering out. Don't visit unless you want to damage your vehicle going >5 mph.
