Holly Brook Apartments

I was a resident for 2 years. For the price you pay it’s not worth it. On top of that you spend at least $8 a load of laundry with their shared washer/dryers. Assuming they’re working at all. The apartment complex claims smoke free but every single one of my neighbors smoked and the smell traveled. The entryways are filthy. Upon ending my lease I have been met with nothing but issues. Phone calls and emails not returned regarding move out date, or walk through (they conducted a walk through and never notified me), and I’ve spent the past 2 months trying to get my security deposit back. They just instruct me to contact the home office, but the home office doesn’t answer.

I dont live in this complex. I Live next door. But this might you if you live there. The garbage is commercial dumpster so they will come at ungodly hours, 3, 4 in the morning sometimes, and slam it on the truck for 20 minutes and then come back hours later for the other ones. Better love getting up early or be a heavy sleeper

I moved into one of the apartment buildings back in the springtime, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far. My apartment was well-kept and very spacious, and everyone was very nice and helpful during the moving process. The neighborhood is very friendly and close to everything. Overall, I think this is a lovely place to stay.

I've been living at Holly Brook for about 5 years and absolutely love this apartment complex. There are several buildings, some with older apartments, some with newer renovations. The apartments are spacious, nice, and affordable. Management is great- Maribeth is a very nice landlord, responsive to emails, and when you have a maintenance request they respond very quickly. There are washer/dryers in every building, but you do have to pay to use them (~$2 per load). The apartment is very quiet and walls are thick. There might be some students living here, but its mostly young professionals, so its not loud and you don't have to worry about BU students partying here. My only complaint is that maintenance typically plows the parking lot around mid morning, after most people have to go to work

For almost $1,400 a month you'd think this building would have a generator. Theres Hardly any hot water, it only last maybe 5 minutes! Our dishwasher is slowly melting away we have stopped using it since the first time we noticed, and we have said something a couple times still no response. Oh and the rent is going up again after already going up twice in the past year.
