The Mark Fairfield County

I have lived at The Mark, Shelton, Connecticut, for five years this October 2021, and I am here to tell you this apartment complex is remarkable and what I believe is the very best not only in Shelton, but in the region. Why? Let's start with the ownership and staff that manage the property. They are kind, respectful and they listen to the residents when/if there is an issue. No place is 100% perfect, but should something arise, the staff always, completely and fully takes immediate care of the situation. Let's talk about cleanliness of the buildings and landscaping of the complex. I will tell you that there is virtually not a single day that goes by where there is not a maintenance person cleaning the floors, vacuuming the carpet, cleaning the inside of the elevators, wiping down the glas

We only lived at The Mark for a year while we were building our dream house, but we couldn’t have found a better temporary home in the area. The staff, from the office to maintenance, were caring and friendly and wonderful to work with from Day 1. The buildings and surrounding areas were well-maintained. The amenities, from the pool to the game room to the fitness center to the package center were wonderful additions. There were always events to attend, like movie nights, holiday parties, paint and sip nights and more. There was even a puppy pool day! One of the most important needs for us was that The Mark was pet friendly. Our dog loved walking around the complex and meeting new friends (human and canine) everyday. Awful place, unfair management, some of the employees are rude. SNOW CLEAN UP IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE. Every storm it is the same excuse, “we are working on it.” This past storm we had over 20 inches os snow with zero cleaning. Elderly members could not even walk on side walks, pull their cars out. It was ridiculous. The office was closed as tenants struggled with 20 inches of snow. It has been 2 days after the storm and it has not been clean yet.

I am really enjoying myself at The Mark. I've been here a little over 1 year. I have a great apartment and there are great people that live here, which makes it even nicer. My apartment was in pristine condition when I moved in. I felt like I was the first person to live here! Everyone I have met is extremely nice and especially the staff. They are willing to help with anything you might need. Victor, head of maintenance and his morning crew, Steve and John rock! They keep the building hallways and amenities rooms in pristine condition! They are awesome people as well. The front desk staff are awesome as well! I am onto my 6th month here at The Mark and I am absolutely blown away by how smoothly and nicely this complex is run. I sold my home in March and decided to come here as a temporary situation with my 16 year old daughter. We've both decided that we absolutely love it here and are planning on staying a while. The grounds are beautiful, the amenities are gorgeous, our apartment is spacious and there is everything we need. The shining stars of this resort complex are the staff!!
